Villa Irene guesthouse, set in the greenery of orchards just a few kilometers from the Ionian Sea and Metaponto at the foot of the Pisticci and Bernalda hills, is an ideal place for those who wish to spend their holiday immersed in the uncontaminated nature of the Mediterranean among the typical perfumes and meaningful traditions of the Basilicata region.
A pine wood, ample beaches of fine sand, clear, crystalline water of the Ionian Sea, tourist itineraries in the heart of Magna Grecia, and traditional festivals in the nearby villages are the elements which make a holiday of sea and sun, fun and culture, relaxation and nature and combine with the convenience of a comfortable and independent guesthouse.

Villa Irene guesthouse (160 sq m of internal space) is completely fenced and located on a large area of private property with exclusive access, offering its guests plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Surrounded by orchards , ornamental plants and a 1000 sq m garden with centuries-old trees , the structure is set up on one single level and has an ample portico, barbeque and outdoor oven for al fresco dining with friends.
There is also plenty of parking and outside shower in the garden area.

During the months of October and November, we offer our guests a unique experience!
You can try weekly “workshops”, adopting 3-4 olive trees:
you’ll gather the olives, take them to the pressing mill and then take high quality olive oil home with you!
