La Mezzana Rossa is a roomy apartment located on the second floor of a XIVth Century building in the medieval Sant'Agostino square, one of the most peaceful area of the historical centre of San Gimignano.
La Mezzana Rossa, recently restructured, offers its guests an unique occasion to spend a delightful holiday visiting the town and the territory of San Gimignano, knowing its history and breathing a magic atmosphere.
San Gimignano will enchant you with everything which makes it a unique town all over the world, heritage of UNESCO. The apartments:La Mezzana Rossa offers you a vast range of different proposals according to the lasting of your stay and to the number of your travel mates. La Mezzana Rossa can be either a unique apartment for eight people or three different apartments for four ("Le Travi" and "Andrea") or two people ("Le Torri"). They have a large common entrance hall/reading room which faces Piazza Sant'Agostino and from which you can enter the different apartments. Our aim has been to keep its ancient structure intact by giving great importance to the newly discovered details such as niches, ex-voto and an original fresco in the reading room dating back to 14th.
Rooms For shorters holidays, La Mezzana Rossa also has two typical Tuscan bedrooms ("Il Dipinto" and "Le Travi") with private bathrooms. The whole apartment has been recently restored. Our aim has been to keep its ancient structure intact by giving great importance to the newly discovered details such as niches, ex-voto and an original fresco in the reading room dating back to 14th.
